2021 UTV King of the Hammers – #4, #40

Race Recap

The Rufus Racing team started the 2021 season out on the lakebed with the UTV King of the Hammers. The team was ready to get back into racing after a tough finish at Nationals, and the cars were ready to go. Unfortunately, Brad suffered an injury pre-running, so Dave stepped in to codrive with Chip (in the #40 car instead of the usual #13).
Chip and Dave finished the race again this year, coming in at 22nd. Zandy and Peanut got into some trouble and weren’t able to finish the race but took what they learned and were ready to tackle the 4400 race!
